A Note from Natasha

It is hard to believe that December is upon us and 2024 is coming to a close. Our passionate team has been working hard all year long to continue fighting our mission of breaking the cycle of poverty. Our “all in” approach is not easy. Sometimes it means streamlining and improving what is already in place. As a younger organization, going on our 9th year in 2025, we have had the flexibility to shift gears if something isn’t working as anticipated.

For instance, we have recently changed our timing of classes of new students. Instead of our program being more self-paced, we have learned that starting each new class every five weeks has been very beneficial. It allows groups of students to stay together, test together, and support one another throughout the duration of our 7-month program.

We also have realized keeping the focus on our core mission is imperative. We have not taken the decision lightly to close our part-time doggie daycare, but we know it is in the best overall interest of Pawsperity. We will keep you updated with how we plan to utilize this space for the school in the coming months.

A shout out to all of our dedicated team of staff, faculty, volunteers, and donors who have made 2024 possible. Finally, a big thank you to all of the hard-working students who have trusted Pawsperity to help transform their lives and the lives of their families. You continue to inspire all of us.

Don’t forget. If you want to help support Pawsperity’s students during this holiday season, it’s not too late. If you happen to be a brand-new donor, the time is perfect because your gift will be matched dollar for dollar. Thanks to The Jack F. and Glenna Y. Wylie Foundation, all new donor gifts between now and the end of the year, up to $150,000, will be matched, doubling your impact! You can learn more and give directly to Pawsperity here.

Happy Holidays to you and your families!
