what is Pawsperity®?
As the nation’s only nonprofit grooming school, Pawsperity is dedicated to unleashing the power of human potential. Through training in the trade of pet grooming, we empower families to uplift themselves from generational poverty.
Our seven-month training program provides 800+ hours of in class instruction plus nearly an additional 100 hours of life skills courses alongside case management, food assistance, housing, and other supports. By providing supportive services, our students are able to focus their time and attention on their studies, setting them up for success in and beyond the classroom.
Students graduate from our program with a certification in an in-demand trade* with job placement, life skills, and support that will last a lifetime.
