A Note from Natasha
What an incredible year 2024 was for Pawsperity! 41 students graduated, which means each of those individuals, plus their families, have new opportunities and bright futures within the pet grooming industry. Most importantly, their lives are, and will be, transformed because of a stable career that can help support their families and lift them out of poverty.
As I’ve said so many times before, we cannot do what we do without our great supporters. Thanks to all those who contributed to the match that ran during the holiday season. A big thank you to The Jack F. and Glenna Y. Wylie Foundation for giving us the opportunity and for their continued support. We are thrilled to have reached the full $150,000, making it a total of $300,000 that will go toward our mission.
We are so grateful for all of the support given to us over the past year by individuals, foundations, and companies. As we continue to grow, we will be focusing on expanding all of these efforts and deepening our relationships with our current partners.
We are also so appreciative of those who have entrusted their dogs with our students and grooming instructors. In 2024, 6,786 dogs were bathed and groomed within our nonprofit school! In 2025, we hope to significantly increase the number of dogs, which will help accommodate the number of students. So much of the 7-month student curriculum is focused on hands-on work, which means we always need dogs. For those of you who get your pups groomed with us, please pass along to your friends and family who also could utilize our services.

While we celebrate the past 12 months, and all we have accomplished, we now look to what lies ahead in our 9th year. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
