A Note from Natasha
With the typical “back to school” happening for many families, or within this month, I wanted to share some updates from our school. As a reminder, we are year-round and bring in new cohorts every five weeks. We are officially at 218 graduates since inception 10 years ago and soon will be in the 220s. When you think about that number, it is not only about those individual lives who were affected, but the children’s lives within those families. Our mission is to end generational poverty—and to not be a band-aid fix, rather a permanent solution. It is not an easy goal, but our dedicated team, along with supporters from our community, like you, make it possible.
While I can share a lot of information with you, it is not the same compared to when you hear graduate stories. If you have not already, check out some of our graduates who have been gracious enough to share how their lives have changed here.
We are excited to announce that this year’s anniversary issue of our magazine will be revealed at the Gala—and will be filled with 10 graduate stories. All of those graduates will be attending the Gala and mingling with guests.
While I am mentioning the Gala, as you have seen, tickets are now live! Don’t miss the early bird special, reserving BEFORE August 24! You can purchase your ticket here or learn more about sponsorships, and a matching opportunity, here. All of the funds raised from this event will directly support more students. Remember that our program is tuition-free and cannot be possible without our generous donors.
Until next month…
